ADULT AND JUNIOR COUNSELOR REGISTRATION

ADULT COUNSELORS:

Adult Volunteers are volunteers who have experience working with children on the autism spectrum. They will be responsible for leading groups of approximately 7 children/teens with autism, as well as providing leadership to Junior Counselors and Peer Buddies.  This is a wonderful opportunity for school professionals to continue working with children during the summer to further develop their skill set. Volunteers may include: teachers, social workers, paraprofessionals, occupational therapists, respite workers, etc.

JUNIOR COUNSELORS:

A junior counselor is a high school student at least age 16 who comes highly recommended by teachers. It's a wonderful opportunity for LINKS students or students who participate in UNIFED programs. Junior Counselors will have the unique opportunity to work directly with children ages 7-18 with autism during an Extraordinary Summer Camp Program! JC's will work within a group of approximately 7 children/teens with autism and a few of their peers along with trained professionals. This unique opportunity allows youth with autism to have a summer camp experience designed especially for them.
