The Team Garrett "Driving Fore Autism" Golf Outing was established in 2015 by the family of Garrett Dennis, who owns Ideal Transportation. Garrett's mother, Jennifer Belcher, along with her very dear friend, Donna Anderson, co-chair this event, which has become the largest fundraiser for Garrett's Place. Garrett's family shared our organization's vision of starting a life skills center where teens and adults could learn skills to gain independence regardless of where they are on the spectrum. "Driving Fore Autism" was then born and since 2015, there have been 10 golf outings with proceeds of over $756,000, all of which all went toward construction costs for Garrett's Place Life Skills Center, as well as all of our programming needs and scholarship funds.
In 2025, we celebrated our 10th Annual "Driving Fore Autism" Golf Outing, which raised over $92,000 of income!!!! Thank you to our participants, donors, sponsors and volunteers for your generosity and supporting our mission!
